I recently stumbled across “Live from Snack Time!” (Twitter, Instagram), which is a hilarious social media outlet that shares funny things that kids say. Some of my favorite quotes are:
“Sometimes when I get mad I go to my room and whisper bad words.”
“Shhh I’m having a pizza dream.”
“Did my ears pop or are you always this loud?”
“Can you give me time out? I want to be alone.”
The geniuses behind this work, Alyssa Cowit and Greg Dunbar, have a book entitled “I Did My Homework in My Head: (And Other Wacky Things Kids Say)“. This would make a fun gift for a friend or family member this holiday season.
